Good evening all: We will be sad to leave Boston in the morning. It really is one of the nicer cities we have ever visited - so very clean and cosmopolitan. Back on the road tomorrow headed for Salem. Today, our first stop was the Kennedy Presidential Library. We thoroughly enjoyed the three hours we spent there.
After the subway ride back to the city our next stop was lunch and then the audio enhanced harbor walk tour. The first site on the tour was the Boston Tea party site. I really was not expecting much as from the outside it looked touristy, but they really did a great job of explaining how this event was in fact key to the start of the revolutionary war with England.
After the subway ride back to our neighborhood (Back Bay) we had another nice dinner outside watching all the many people (what a city of young people) go by. We are both pretty tired from all today's walking so we are now back at our B&B to rest up for tomorrow's riding.
