We rode 37 miles today, dodging rain all day. The rain came down for about 1 minute while we were having lunch in Newcastle and chased us inside from the waterfront deck. Interesting pic of the stealth warship taken from the bridge leading out of Bath Maine from the bridge bikeway.
Mostly rural roads again with some short sections on the Atlantic Hwy (route 1). Nice shoulder on Hwy one but too much traffic for our liking. We will be on it a lot tomorrow, unfortunately - on our way to Camden.
Weather looks ok for tomorrow but Sunday is looking very rainy. We hope it changes as we have 45 miles that day.
